The Unhappy Person
It is normal to be sad and feel depressed at times, we all have experienced these emotions. The unhappy person however, is physically healthy and constant in this state. They are not mentally ill, they just choose to express certain personality traits over others that envelopes them in a continuous negative cycle. I felt compelled to write about the unhappy person because so many of us in the spiritual community are empathetic, authentic, loving spiritual folk and healers. We are people who want the best for others, who seek the best for ourselves, who are constantly working on a vibration and frequency of love, abundance and blessings.
So, when we come across the unhappy person it stuns us. Literally. Like a deer in the headlights, we just stop. We feel their pain deeply and it moves us. Immediately, we are thrown into action providing all the support we can. We share everything we've learned, we listen intently, we give of our time freely. We provide opportunity after opportunity, gesture after gesture but there is no happiness to be found for the unhappy person. It is a very painful situation to experience for those trying to help because the unhappy person is either unaware of their spiritual state or determined in it.
So, we offer up our good vibes and positivity in exchange for their indifference, cynicism, sarcasm, criticism and a lowering of our vibrational field. I have to point this out because I see this happen so often. If someone owed you $20.00 and they paid you back $1.50 would that seem fair to you? Would you do business with that person again? The way we allow others to treat us sends a strong message to the self and redefines what we know to be true about ourselves. Energy speaks to energy, so choose wisely who you allow into your space because it is sacred. You are sacred.

There are many reasons why people end up in a constant state of unhappiness but, it is not our job to take on their burdens. They have not worked through their lessons and we cannot do it for them. We can bare witness to their pain without taking it on as our own. In fact, the very best thing we can do for ourselves is acknowledge it and then release it. Their unhappiness is not ours, we must not make it so. Yes, we are here to connect with and help others but only if our help is wanted and received. We cannot help others facilitate a change in themselves they are unwilling or not ready to undertake. Each one of us has a path, a journey and we cannot walk it for others. The unhappy person has consciously or unconsciously chosen unhappiness. We must relay our love to them and release.
Where we falter, is in staying and continuing in the energy of the unhappy person. This is in no way beneficial to us. It hinders our own progress, frequency and growth because the energy of the unhappy person is at it's core, stagnation. They are stagnant in the same low vibrational energy constantly. Where we falter, is in the recognition of and the acceptance of their true energetic signature because when we see the energetic signature there is no denying it. Understand the energy and you will know truth. The unhappy person is a lesson we all must learn.
So, be kind, be gentle but be aware and understand the duality of encounter here is for them to experience consciousness and for you to provide what is needed and then help the next person.
